Thank you

We would like to thank the following people who really helped us through this journey.

  • Professor Martin van Niekerk.  The most amazingly talented pediatric surgeon around.
  • The nursing staff at Kloof Mediclinic NICU ward.  You are angels sent from above to look after these little miracles. You handle every baby with love and you calm the parents with reassuring words.
  • Werner and Michelle Minnie.  We met this wonderful couple while we were in NICU.  Their daughter Clarise, was also born with gastroschisis. We are happy to say that Clarise is also doing very well 🙂
  • Lastly we would like to thank our friends and family who was there for us every step of the way. Without a strong support system this journey would have been very tough. Although no one was allowed inside the NICU, we had lots of visitors and that meant the world to us.
